Wow! I am so excited! I cannot believe that I have a book and a book cover. It's available on Wattpad.com. Click here for "Wake Not the Dead", a new YA paranormal book. Wattpad is an online community to read, vote and chat with readers and writers for FREE. Head on over and check it out! If you like it VOTE and SHARE! Thanks!
Having a book has been a dream of mine since I was a teen. I won't tell you how many years ago that was, but I can't believe it's actually happening!
Here's the back cover blurb:
Aside from the death of her mother four years ago, Lexi Black’s life has been routinely normal. All she wanted was to survive high school and get Dirk to notice her. Ordinary dreams for an ordinary girl. But after being plagued with mysterious blackouts and nightly hauntings from her mother, Lexi must face the inevitable. She is a necromancer—someone who can put the Dead back to rest—and that someone else is raising an army of the Undead. With a set of bells, the tools of a necromancer, and help from her ghostly mother, Lexi struggles trying to bring rest to the Dead while saving the ones she loves most.
Enjoy and thanks for reading!

Message in a cyber-bottle
Blogging. Sometimes it just feels like I'm throwing myself out into the great cyber-unknown. Who knows who is going to read this and when. Actually it's more like a message in a bottle-which sounds way more adventurous and romantic than blogging.
I had a pretty consistent blog for a while that I posted regularly on. Then there was an identity theft scare and the blog went private. Then it went public again. But all the back and forth cut all the readers out of my news feed. So that blog hasn't seen much in a while. If you were to look at the last post, it might say 1999. Just kidding. But it's been a while.
In the mean time, I have been writing and trying to finish drafts and edits.
I discovered something very interesting. Going indie is liberating. It's like getting a pixie hair cut. Free.
I'm calling all the shots. I also just got my book edited by Precision Editing. Fantastic team, by the way. And I love editing. It's great. It helps me be a better writer. Yes, there are a ton of errors (800+) that I need to fix, and only half of those are quick fixes. BUT the critique is positive. More like a "So You Think You Can Dance?" judge than Simon Cowell.
So here's to more writing and editing!
